Even though the CD Super Copy Tower is easy to use, it includes powerful, professional copy control features normally available only on much more expensive systems. For complete control and copying flexibility, the CD Super Copy Tower has an array of powerful control features:
SETUP –
Choose Source: This function sets the location of the source information. Press the “RUN” button to select the location of the source information, or select [A] (automatic) so the controller will search for a disc containing information and use that location as the source.
Disc Counter: This sets an automatic start function, so when the controller detects the set number of blank discs loaded in the CD Recorders, it will start Copying automatically without pushing the “RUN” button.
Skip Read Error: This setting controls error skipping when reading in a master disc. If the setting is “No”, if an error is detected during loading the duplicator will stop loading and display a read-error message. If the setting is “Yes”, there will be no error message shown even if there is an error in reading. You can use this function to copy discs with errors or nonstandard track configuration.
CD Writing Method: The duplication system provides three reading and writing methods. Before loading or duplicating, make sure you have selected the appropriate writing method.
DAO - Disc at Once, copies the whole disc in one operation, most frequently used. Default setting is DAO.
TAO - Track at Once, duplication proceeds track to track to copy the disc.
CD Read Speed: The duplication system can select the reading speed of the reader.
CD Writing Speed: The duplication system can adjust the writing speed of the writers.
Set as Default: The controller in the CD Super Copy Tower can save all changes of the settings you have made. If you want to restore the factory settings (default settings), push the “SET” button to select this setting and then push the “RUN” button, which restores the default settings.
Update Firmware: Controller firmware may be updated at any time.
Check TRK LEN: If the source disc has a bad track, this function can save time detecting the bad track length.
Show Disc Info: This function shows detailed information for the disc in the CD-ROM drive. It displays disc format and capacity.
Show EXE Time: Enabling this function will show complete time for the copy process from start to finish.
Write Disc Only: This function will fill the blank discs with zeros. This is designed to test for write performance and can be used to test various brands of blank media for write performance. The TEST function can also be used, and the results of TEST are a measure of both the source discs and blank media selected.
Sum Disc Count: The CD Super Copy Tower counter can either accumulate the total number of Passed and Failed discs in a copy run, or it can reset for each copy operation.
Region Free: Copies any DVD Region as Region 0
